Captain Grady Maynard – Your Premier Bass Fishing Guide
Central Florida Bass Charters is owned and operated by Captain Grady Maynard, your premier native Floridian fishing guide. Captain Grady is a US Coast Guard Certified Captain in operation since 2014.
Captain Grady is follower of Jesus Christ, a proud husband and father of 2 girls #girldad. Captain Grady works full time as a Firefighter Paramedic in Central Florida. As his secondary career he operates Central Florida Bass Charters for his passion of fishing and teaching others. Through Central Florida Bass Charters, Captain Grady has been able to share his time and experience from tournament fishing to running and operating multiple charity tournaments for local families and individuals who have fallen on life altering hardships.
Captain Grady got his start in the fishing world through Jr. Bassmasters and Teen Sport Fishing association in the early 2000’s. Later on he would compete in the B.A.S.S. High-school series and he even competed in the Bassmaster Southern Opens while in High School. Once he graduated high school he wanted to continue his career in bass fishing and decided to go to school in 2014 to obtain his captain’s license. Soon after, he started his business Gdawg Outdoors which later became Central Florida Bass Charters. More recently he has competed in the BFL’s and ABA tournaments for fun and to stay relevant.
Captain Bill
Captain Bill has been fishing Central Florida lakes since he was a young kid with his father. Throughout his life fishing as always been a constant passion of his. Any time he had the chance he was out on the water catching fishing. This has allowed him to gain a vast knowledge of the local lakes and develop his techniques as a fisherman. About 10 years ago Captain Bill realized another passion of his, helping others catch fish and teaching them all about the sport he loves. Captain Bill is so grateful to be able to take his life long passion of fishing and have the ability to share it with others through his guide trips.
